If you’re preparing for the G2 test in GTA, you’re taking a major step toward driving independently.The G2 driving test evaluates your ability to drive on your own, handle real road situations, and follow traffic laws responsibly. The G2 road test is administered at the local DriveTest Centre. It assesses your ability to safely navigate city streets, obey traffic signs and signals, and demonstrate confident, responsible driving.
You must have held your G1 license for the required period and practice extensively before taking the test. The exam typically lasts 20–30 minutes and includes maneuvering, lane changes, parallel parking, emergency stop,general road awareness and knowladge about right of ways

During the test, the examiner will assess:
Practice regularly in different traffic and weather conditions.
Take at least one lesson with a certified driving instructor to rectify mistakes.
Review the MTO Driver’s Handbook thoroughly.
You are supposed to demonstrate skills such as parallel parking, three point turns, observations after every five to seven seconds and lane changes properly.
